Tis the season for dreaming of Spring and looking at garden catalogues. I thought I'd pull together some of the offers and deals I'm seeing.
The Cook's Garden is offering free shipping for orders over $50 with the code FREESHIP7, and will send a free packet of arugula seeds for orders over $30.
Burpee will throw in will throw in all-natural, organic plant food for $30 orders made by March 31, 2012.
Money Saving Mom reported that Gardens Alive is one again attaching a $25/$25 coupon to their catalogues. I've done this deal before and their lettuce seeds aren't bad.
Gurney's has a Today's Deals sections on their website and sometimes you can snag something good.
Craftster has a forum on exterior decor that I love to get ideas from. Many of the projects include materials I already have on hand.
The Garden Junk forum at Garden Web is another source for using found materials.
Also check out the Garden For Less Page on The Prudent Homemaker for more tips.
What did I miss? How are you planning to grow more with less this year?

Very nice links, we are hoping to plant some fruit trees this year, plus the regular garden.
ReplyDeleteI can't wait to live somewhere permanent so I can plant fruit trees. Right now I just have 1 blueberry bush in a pot!
ReplyDeleteHi Lucky,
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing. I have sent for the Gardens Alive catalog and hope to get that coupon.
I've had my garden for two years now and this year we're planing on expanding it so i hope to have fully stocked pantry and fridge by fall. To minimize cost of seeds etc I joined local garden/seed swaping group. Once a week we meet and agree who brings whatever they have extra and exchange. For example I have many tomato seeds so I can exchange that for some exotics like asian egplant that I always wanted to try. :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for the link!
ReplyDeleteThat's a great idea Jenny! I've never been good at saving seeds. Maybe I should try again this year.
ReplyDeleteHi PH and Precious!
